How much do Spa One spas cost to run?
If you use your spa for 1 hour per day every day power consumption will be approx $30 per month, chemicals approx $100 per year and replacement filters approx $100 every 2 years.
What kind of insulation do you use?
We use “full foam” insulation, the underside of the spa is full of foam. This is best suited for New Zealands winter conditions.
Can these spa pools go outside?
Yes, Spa One spas are built for outdoor use. The cabinets are built of cedar, the base is constructed from treated timber and the complete spa sits on plastic feet, leaving an air gap underneath.
Do your spas have ozone? What is it?
Yes, Spa One spas have an ozone and silent heating option. Ozone sanitizes the water, however it does not kill all bacteria and therefore must be used in conjunction with a small amount of chlorine. To be effective the ozone must run 24hours a day.
